…Originally from Dallas, Texas, Kelly Grandjean (AEA name Renée Kelly) is a PhD student in Fine Arts at Texas Tech University. Kelly holds an M.F.A. in Acting for Television, Film, and Theatre from California State University, Los Angeles and a Master of Psychology from the University of Dallas. Ms. Grandjean has over twenty years of stage and film acting experience. Some of her favorite stage roles include Sabina in The Skin of Our Teeth, Amanda in Private Lives, and Poopay in Communicating Doors. Kelly’s film and TV credits include "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Silent Red," "Deadroom," and Television Insomnia’s web-series "Weather or Not." Kelly won the 2016 Region VI Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival’s Institute for Theater Journalism and Advocacy (Critics Institute) competition. This win awarded Ms. Grandjean a fellowship to participate in the KCACTF National Festival for Theatre Journalism and Advocacy at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Her research interests focus on the value arts and arts therapies have within hospitals and schools of medicine.
